Kids are always on the move. Photo taken in a aquarium. the room was almost dark. The background is a well-lit aquarium.

I would've liked something in good focus and not motion blurred, then a blurred kid would stand out more. I like the colors and atmosphere though. It's slightly overexposed too.

I would consider this as an abstract photograph instead of a family photo. It shows a runner with a shoe. And again the shoe seems like a girl aiming her legs up to the sky. Goog submission. - Prasad

Contemplating this image for a while now, and it just doesn't move me. I get the impression of standing out in the surf looking back toward the beach. But I'm not sure if that's ACTUALLY what it is or not. (Not that it matters, really.)

I guess what troubles me is that the motion blur strikes me as entirely accidental rather than planned and deliberately executed. Not sure if that's truly the case, but it's how it seems -- which diminishes my appreciation for the image.

Welcome to Photosig!

Photosig is a site that really stresses critiques both to help the photographer getting them but also as a self learning tool when a critic writes one. It is recommended that members write three critiques for every photo submitted.

If you have any questions about how the site works please go to the FAQ section of the site for most commonly asked questions.

The site also has a forum section for discussing different topics with other members of the site.

Finally the site really stresses the importance of writing critiques for other members and there is a page for help in writing critiques if you need some. It is located at the Photosig Critique Tutorial page.

To write a conforming critique, it must be 15 unique and correctly spelled English words.

Again, welcome to Photosig and we hope you find the site helpful for your photography.
