That's so bizarre it's hard to even believe. You've captured it well. Nice that one Googled it and was able to give an answer. Very strange....glad you shot it!

The ship itself is so interesting that you don't notice the photograph at all! Well done, Osman. The ship certainly does look top-heavy. The sailors must trust physics and marine engineers.

Hi Osman, Seems like a ship for unusual and heavy cargo, in this case port cranes. The hull is semi submersible to keep the center of gravity as low as possible to improve stability. Depending on the cargo the ship may require calm seas to procede to it's destination. High winds and swells may prove disastrous for this kind of load. A quick search on Google revealed that a recent delivery was port cranes to Rotterdam. Good color and contrast by the way. And very detailed for a ship spotting image. Thanks for sharing. Rgds Are

Hi Are,
You are completely right. The ship stayed so long that I also have made a search with it's name and found that it was always transporting cranes. It was interesting to listen to people telling different stories!
Best regards.

Looks like the ship might be transporting these gigantic pieces as part of an offshore oil rig.

A quick google search of the ship's name revealed it to be a "heavy lift" ship built for this sort of cargo. See:
