Not the ideal time of day to get silky water, but that is what I wanted, with the bright sun to light up the orange cliff.

Good composition. I probably would have gone a little wider to include the top of the trees as you got 90% of them in the frame. This would avoid tilting the camera upwards and creating some distortion. I like the inclusion of the small rainbow at the bottom. You got a deep blue from the polarizer, but there is a different blue around the trees which looks a little funny. I am not sure what you are doing for resizing, but it looks generally a little soft on my monitor. I probably would have cloned out the shadows next to the rainbows jsut to give the water a more consistent look.

Thanks David, the blue around the trees changed a little as I made them a bit lighter, this is just a quick workup so nothing too extensive was done, it's pretty much right out of the camera. I didn't tilt the camera up, because I didn't want any excess distorsion from a 20 mm lens on a full frame camera, I would have liked more sky above myself.

The colours are very beautiful, also the atmosphere. The waterfall is at a good place for a beautiful composition. The waterflow lookes good.

Craig I think you did very well with this shot. Dark sky with nice green trees, sunlight on rocks to show color, Dark water at the bottom with a nice tiny rainbow. I like the flow of the waterfall but its really light. It does not look as if there is any blue water color in it but you could try working in an editor to tone it or darken it as this is a very nice composed shot. Carole

Hi Craig :You see so many waterfalls by day and never ceases to amaze. That image has been good. Very well the effect of water and a steep drop to reach the runway. Good work. It's just my IHMO. Best regards. Mario
