This is a nice portrait of a very photogenic young lady. Like you said, her eyes are striking. It's interesting that most of the other reviews are quite positive, but no one has given you 3 thumbs? Either they aren't telling you what they don't like about the picture, or they aren't sure themselves. Focus, depth of field, and lighting are pleasing. It's the composition that could be better - specifically all that stuff in the foreground that is out of focus. Her hand and the fence are simply too dominant in the scene. They draw your attention away from the subject's face. Perhaps a different pose (arm down?) or camera angle that reduced the visibility of these elements would have worked better?

Jan I really like the composition with all the elements around this little cutie. But for me the one blue eye distracts because it is out of balance with the other one that is mostly covered up.

Hi Jan,Good shot,the tone is very nice ,the background blurred very well I like that she is looking into the photo and not at the edge looking out.Amber is very and have nice pose.Good focus and sharp light on her face is good.Regards Hayri

Good portrait Jan. The girl's eyes are very beautiful. Very nice colors, good composition, very good light control. Selective focus is very good. The girl's hand is very well blurred. Brillant photo. Thanks for sharing. Best wishes.
