This photo is underexposed. Looking at it in photoshop, the levels can be brought up considerably and still retain the mood of the scene. The image is also leaning slightly to the right. Rotating it three quarters of a degree counter clockwise will fix that.

Thanks for your comment dear John,as far as I can remember it was a cloudy day so I am not sure it is underexposed.Regards Hayri
