I eat it with every rice dish to enjoy the color, fragrant and taste but must confess this is the first time I ever see the real flower. I should look to see where I can find the seed/bud, in other words how to grow it locally. Richard do you have any suggestion?
Love the color and saturation also composition.
Could you use a wider F stop for shallower DOF and blurring that otherwise busy background?

I like the colours and I agree the background could be a bit more blurred, IMHO I would have a little more space above and on the left, the composition feels a little off.

Hi Dena
Great details on these. They would probably stand out more on a blurred or black background. It is a bit distracting.
Thanks for sharing

Hi Francine,Thank you for your input and kind critique ,You say right about background blurred,This is a wild flower and distance to background is more little also I used Canon Power shot G7 without a macro lens,Cheers Dena.

Looks like saffron (zafaran in your country?) to me. I have some in my flower bed and it blooms in the fall. Remove the red portion, dry it and use it in cooking.
