An interesting and very different sunset capture! I've seen very similar colors like this in the Appalachian Mountains but in early morning. The lights remind me of stars and the heavy mist starts to look like theirs a nasty fire going on somewhere. The pole sticking out on the top right should be cloned out and the three trees at the bottom could be cloned out as well for a cleaner look. Very minimalist capture, but that's the beauty of it for me. Thanks for the view Peter! Regards, Bob

"Freezy" shot with nice blue tones. Crop is interesting and the mountains at the horizon are stunning. I like the mist and the trees. You did a great job.

Very nicely done, Peter. It has such a surreal looke. The colours are wonderful. The contrast between the softness of the fog to the hit and miss details of the trees sticking out. Good Job Thanks for sharing. Tina

Nice mood shot.  Don't know that I care for the colors, they don't look quite natural to me.  I like the trees in the foreground, peeking through the fog, but don't care for the slice of dark trees in the middle of the photo - I think it hurts the composition.  It seems that it needs more contrast to bring out the shapes of the trees more, but not sure if it would work with the fog.  It's one of those things that you just have to try and see what happens, but it just seems that it needs something.

hard to believe, but this is the natural color, may be 95%, i only use the Ps to highlight more details and saturated, this is WHY WE LIKE DIGITAL.......

Hi Peter, this is just a stunning shot. You've captured an interesting moment in time, the sun set and twilight upon the scene, the evening fog rolling over the landscape and the lights just being turned on. I think the composition works well, with a distinct foreground and middle, with the mountains in the distance. The blues, greys and pinks all work well together. Were you sing a tripod? The lights look almost but not quite pin sharp. 1/15 IS a fairly long exposure and many lens are a little soft in the corners wide-open at f2.8. Well done! Thanks for sharing.

yes , i was using a tripod but this photo, i wanted to shot at f2.8 ,wide open lens to give more misty looked, but some people say they liked it to shoot at smaller aperture.,thanks looking at the photo.
