Beautiful, but something like this shouldn't be limited. Scenes like this I tend to leave room on the sides in order to all the viewer to take it all in as if they were there.

Agreed wholeheartedly Tracy. I considered stepping back, making the barn smaller with more room on either side, but the right side had some stuff in it that just didn't fit the scene, so I had to make do.

it is a kind of image that I wish I could see more of it from sides, this one from the left side, great cloud and rainbow, nice colorings in the back, and this red building is surely appealing too.

Hi Llya
This is a stunning picture. I feel it's a little too tight though.
Thanks for sharing

Hi Francine.
Thanks for kind words. Yes, its too tight on the right due to obstructions near it and not being able to find a better vantage point to shoot from :(.

Hey Brooklyn (me too). You've got a great cloud in the sky and a bright red building in the foreground to go with the rainbow. I wish the crop of the building was not so tight. It needs a bit of room around it. The rainbow is a bit washed out. Here is where a polarizer would have been useful to make the colors bolder. If you can isolate the sky area, you might be able to enhance the rainbow with some extra contrast and a little saturation (not too much). There's a tiny black something in the top right corner that should be cleaned up. :)Robin

thanks for the critique and careful detail Robin :D. I will try to play with the rainbow as you said, it is a bit washed out. Ill also clear up the black spot. The crop on the right is very tight indeed, but there was a random white post and a tree in the way so I had no vantage point that would allow me to get a nice view on either side :(.
The polarizer will come soon with the D3000 :D.
