Taken in Mystic, CT at sunrise a few weeks ago. f/16 at a 1/6 of a second.

Hello Amy, When I first looked at your pic, I couldn't determine the waterline on the poles. And that is only because you picked the best tide time to capture it. Great composition. My eye moves along the pier and out to the far buildings unobstructed. My only suggestion is for you to use a cir-polarizer filter to enliven the clouds. John

Nice pic...however, a couple of things jumped out at me: 1) The sky could definitely use more life (was this taken at sunrise or a bit after the "magic hour"?), 2) The focus looks soft to my eye...however, that could be my eyes or a result of downsizing for upload, and 3) There could be a little correction done to correct the outward lean of the posts on the left and right. Again, nice pic...I've been to Mystic several times when I used to work for a company in the area. Mike

Good photograph , the reflections are great and I like the leading lines of the Pier . the sky could do with some more pop . Thank you for sharing .
