very nice capyure of the early morning river. I notice that the water flow almost looks like it was liquified somehow. It looks different adds drama to the scenery. great shot and same suggestions as other critiqers

Robert, When I first looked at this I thought: this could really use a little graduated neutral density filter. But then I looked at your details and see that you used one, but not quite enough, another stop or 2 would have really helped with the sky. That being said you need some sharpening to bring out some details in the valley walls. If done properly you will also add some contrast which help eliminate the washed out look in the background. If not try using a little "s" curve in Photoshop and selectively apply it to the background areas in question. Very nice composition as you have some lines that pull one into the image and to the various areas of it. 1.5 Rounded up. Keep shooting and thanks for sharing, Gary

Gary, Thanks for looking and the good points. I had all three of my cokin ND grads stacked - tough exposure to work out. I will have to try HDRI next time.

Nice landscape photo, Robert! The water really looks odd - like a gel but i like it. Color and composition are very nice. I'd may be work with the shadow on a background mountains. Now it has too much cyan and too bright (at least on my monitor ;).

I see that you deleted the shot on which I commented. This looks better from a sharpness standpoint. The water still looks odd, IMO.
