Good, natural moment that works because of the candid, casual (and blurred) guys in the background. The scene looks relaxed, the young woman not at all intimidated by the camera. With the 35mm lens, you were pretty close to her, and her comfortable, yet direct stare makes this shot, IMO. The grain looks good here, better than the smooth, grainless look that a digital camera might have provided. I like your b&w portfolio, some good moments in there. :-)

I like the expression captured in the picture, only one second later and you have lost it. I think that the eyes don't look in the camera, but slightly up. (sorry for my english)

Love the eye contact and her eye gaze right at the lens is perplexing and by hiding the face with tea cup adds intrigue, it seems has the film was pushed as if underexposed when shot, don't forget when shooting bw film over expose a bit

Stacy, hello! I really appreciate you for a comment.
About exposition i can say that all steps to the final image are a bit complicated: i scan a negative with all the improvement options switched off and then try to find the balance in Photoshop. So every mistakes that you see i did by my own hands in a digital post processing :))

Very good, my congratulations, dnd! Such a look costs so much! And double meaning of the title (am I right - this look really telling something...) B&W and dust are on their right place, two guys are blurred by DOF enough - and also add to the story. Molodets!
Yuri

I'm not seeing the interaction between the guys in the background and the subject. They don't seem to fit together or add to the story. I also find the subject drinking from the cup to have that 'What, your taking a pic now?" look on her face.

I understand. My comments are very subjective. I'm also 'new' to this site so bear with me as I get my critiquing legs. :)

I wasn't inspired with this one. I know you don't agree with me but keep in mind I'm self trained and am a cranky stubborn guy. It's me, not your picture.
