Colors are great ..bird feeding itself is caught well .. season feelings prevails .. nice angle of view and your approch to the bird dear Michael :) agree a lil off centred bird would have been nice.. tech seems ok ..a lil more sharpness would have done so nice .. a lovely shot :) best of regards.. JOYIA

Great catch, birds are so hard to capture. The only thing that stops me from given you a 3 thumps up is the picture is way to busy with all the berries in it. Try to remove some berries with photoshop or something like that. Thanks for sharing with us.

Thanks, Robert. The image is too complex to clone out things like the berries without making it obvious. A tighter crop is a better idea, although I rather liked all those berries in the frame.

NIce bird shot and one reason I am commenting is at least this one is doing something. I like the color contrasts of the berries and the feathers. My only nit Is I think the bird could be a tad sharper

Thanks, Steven. DOF is short with this lens, I was unable to shoot more parallel to the bird.

Great capture, Michael! Love the colours. A tad more dof to get his back in focus too would have made this near perfect. Oh yes, and perhaps placing him a bit more off centre.
All the best / Eric

Thanks, Eric. A tighter crop might have worked better in some ways but I really liked the effect of all those berries.
