These grasslands have a very rich biodiversity - up to 40 different small plant species per square meter are said to be present in pristine areas.

Hi, Steve!
Personally, i like the low contrast, despite i agree with other critiques that mor e contrast will give you another beatiful shot.
For my taste, this looks like a paint, with a calm mood that makes me feel good!
Regards, Theo!

Hi BOB. Thanks for your visit and the encouragement. This type of open space is very special and very threatened by invader alien trees (like the bluegum in the picture) and farming. I must enjoy it while I can. Cheers. Steve

A nicely composed landsacpe , vastness and tranquality prevails ... your tech are wonderful dear Steve.. a green color cast must be removed ..a lil S curve to bring back the contrast .. that is only needed here.. I like the shot :) best of regards.. JOYiA

I agree concerning the contrast, which could be a little more emphasized. Otherwise this is a beautiful shot to me. I like the stones in the forground that give dynamics to the picture and seem to lead us to the isolated tree. The last thing is that I think a black frame instead of a white one might have given more strength to the picture. Well done! Marie

Hi Marie. As I said to Aviva, I should have raised the contrast. I will try a dark frame as well. Thanks for the ideas and your visit. Steve

i find that taking picture of a green area is a difficult thing . You got a very nice picture of the landscape, very nice positioning of the solitary tree and anice diagonal like of stones. Maybe a bit more contrast, not sure, would give it a more punch.

Hi Aviva. I had to play a lot with saturation to get what I thought were the correct greens, but you are right with the contrast. I have just tried an increase of about 15% and it is better. Thanks for the idea and the visit. Steve
