Fine shot - very elegant for a pigeon. The shot is a bit flat. I tried Levels at about 20 - 1.10 - 210 and then added a hit of Sharpen. (Using history brush I removed the halo around the bird.) I like the mood. What do you think?

Thanks Robert, what you did with the picture is recreate the original as I see it on my computer. I forgot that my picture (in Adobe rgb) is displayed in sRGB on websites like this. since sRGB is a subset of Adobe RGB , the contrast is flattened. cheers, Hans

Yes, the colour space does cause problems. I wish that in the photoSIG submission guidelines they would tell us to make sure the shot is in sRGB . . . Cheers, r

Hi Hans, well frozen on the inflight pigeon, good sharpness and nice blue sky together with the clouds to compliment. But the light on the bird is really flat, additional contrast work is necessary.

very good inflight photograph, good light and detail, composition the bird is maybe just a fraction high in the image

Hi, Hans. Nice shot. Good angle and clarity. Detail can be seen on the feathers. It's good to see the symbol of peace flying with wings open wide. Thanks for sharing.
