Hi
very beautiful photo, I have some pictures taken in the same way but your picture is better. Probably more contrast gives more power...

Hi Valerio, thanks for sharing some views of my photo. I always find it difficult to choose the right amount of contrast. Seems like when you think you've pushed it far enough, it still needs a little more :-) Regards Geir E

That's a good idea to have turned this in black and white ! this bridge have been photographed one billion of time, but your picture has a little something that makes it interesting. Good view

Hi Vincent, thanks a lot for your interst in my picture. Yes, this is a motive that has been photographed a lot of times and it's difficult to find an interesting view. Therefore nice that you find something in this picture that perhaps makes a little difference. Thanks. Regards Geir E

A nice familiar setting you have here, Geir. Using it well and composing nicely. The square works as well as the black&white in the harsh sun. Only thing is the murkiness/fogginess of the image which could be easily fixed with a bit more contrast. Good work, Itai.

Hi Itai, thanks a lot! See what you mean regarding to the murkiness/fogginess. I'm not sure though, that I will push the contrast even more - if I do, it must be done just to parts of the picture and not overall, I think. Regards Geir E

To tell the truth was not sure about this at first, but close look it is fantastic, the way the white line leads you the middle coloumn, and then that as well as the wire supports all lead you the flag at the top. I also like that the fact that it is B&W as I think colour would be distracting. Very well done!

Hi Steven, and thanks a lot for your kind critique! When I shot this it was the shapes and lines that captured my interest. I've tried to highlight those elements by converting it to B/W, by darkening it and by adding some contrast. I'm very happy much of the same that captured my interest is what you comment! Regards Geir E
