My personal preference is to make the subject pop, and I would like this photo more if the background was blurred slightly. Seems there is maybe too much going on that draws your eye away from this girl. However the trees in the background may be too interesting to blur! They are fantastic

Rather nice but it looks like you've tried to include too much. If the subject of the photo is the girl and you still want to put her in context, then going closer with a wider lens should make the subject more prominent, and still allow you to capture her surroundings.
