The lighting is perfect done, the whites are good and there is a beautiful sphere. The pose helps also for the good composition. The image works well here.

I share the same feeling as Joseph in the first critique, I think the photo is a
bit over-exposed on the back side of the bird. This remind me of my egret shots in the afternoon which ... best be spent at the pub. :-). Nice pose and sharpness otherwise. Just my opinion, thanks for sharing!

Nicely done, Edwin, with sharpness and pose of the bird both very pleasing. Title is good considering MJ's predilections for skin colour. More colours to the water than previously which, for me at least, is a huge improvement.
That bright spot just under the bird attracts undue attentiona nd is easily fixec. A bit harshly lit on the neck and top of the head but, otherwise, pretty to view. Cheers, Rick.

Hi Edwin timing is everything and you timed it right.Great pose and reflection.Good exposer over all but head is a bit hot.

Nice timing shot but the head looks soft and the whites of the head appear to be blown out. The focus appears to be on the left wing, TFS.....joelm
