Excellent feather detail except for the area at the top of its head. The exposure looks good. It would be much nicer if on a branch vs the rock but I know its what you get.

Hello Edwin, nice shot. This bird reminds me of our Cat Bird with the red butt feathers. The image looks good with sharp details but I would have left more space as its too full framed IMO. Still good job with the harsh light....Jack.. PS where is this bird found?

Hi Edwin,
Besides the small problem at the crest - great shot. Beautiful toning and composition, good dof and focus, the works. You should have taken the model to a better hair dresser.:-)

Good shot Edwin, good color and relatively sharp. I see a problem at the crest of it's head though. Did you do some cloning there?

I cannot lie to your eagle eye Walter, I did some cloning on the top edge of the photo, there was a very dark line going along it, I found it distractiing and I just removed it. Appreciate your kind comments and glad you like this.
