This image was taken at the "birthplace" of bungy jumping, A.J. Hackett's Kawarau Bridge near Queenstown, New Zealand. This photographs shows what the bungy cord looks like close-up. And, no, this was not taken (or converted) in black-and-white. It is simply the available lighting and color.

NP: what a mess. okay first thing i noticed was the segment of rope closest to the camera is in fact blurred and this kind of bugs me. the other issue i notice is... what a mess. maybe rope out straight (or at least not a complete mess like this) would be better.
