Great light and excellent DOF Martyn, i like the perspective who see in this frame... maybe you can have a better composition... but i like this picture... good job!

Very beautifull photo, I like it very much. The avenue effect is very pleasant. Maybe that lowering the perspective would be better. I would prefer it more dark and with less saturation for the colors, but NOT BW.

Hi Martyn,

Aptly entitled image. I really like the solitary vibe and agree with your comment regarding the jogger's position in-frame. The lane in conjuntion with the oof foreground lead us inexorably to your lone jogger and consequently I like the dof you've chosen. A lower perspective might have heightened the length of the lane though.

Only two distractions for me here with the first being the bench peeking through the trees right at the curve of the path. The second somewhat distracting element is the color. The green of the moss on the trees especially garners my eye and I'd suggest that a B&W conversion would present just as if not more effectively while simulataneously strenghthening the perception of solitude.

All in all though this is an effective image and evokes an emotional response for me.

Darren

my thoughts entirely, didnt think about lowering the perspective tho, its a busy park so i grabbed the shot while no one else was in frame,i will try a b&w conversion and maybe clone out the bench. cheers martyn
