You sure have mastered the technique of good bird shots. Great sharpness, feathers details and catch light in the eye. Great perch and BG, Well done.

Very nice close up portrait of a Stonechat Bahadir. I like the soft colors and the background - good DOF. The birdie looks great on the flimsy, thorny twig. Congrats and thanks for sharing - Jarek.

Bahadir, I would try improving the contrast at the background just a bit. It is a bit dull at the moment. Other than that, the image is sharp and detail.

Very picture of a stonechat dear Bahadir. DOF is great, having the whole bird in sharp focus. Would like to bird pop even more, maybe a little contrast helps? Also some blurred twigs at the bottom should be sharper? Thanks for sharing Robert.

This one is nice Bahadir, nice background for the bird and good coloring overall. But I feel there is a little oversharpening over the bird, evident from the icy details on the plumage.

Cheers......Edwin

a Beautiful shot. Good sharpness and DOF, beautiful colours and a good position of the bird in the picture. Composition and lighting are well done, I like it.

Just how many photographs of this stonechat do you have Bahadir?

Competently captured, no doubt about that, and all with all elements combining towards a techinally good photograph. Lacking, however, the element of originality. This post looks very similar to the one you submitted in November. Different pose but same bird and background.

Nothing wrong with being repetitive specially if the formula works but it would be good to stray away from one's comfort zone and try and explore other subjects, genres and/or techniques. Just a thought for the New Year.

Cheers, Rick.

Bahadir, I didn't say you took it on the same day. I mentioned it does look similar to the one you posted in November....almost the same pose, background colour, etc. etc.

All the twigs are different. But why should he stop submitting these very similar photos of this bird if people are willing to give him critiques and get him to the Main Page. After all, that is what this site is all about, isn't it? It isn't about learning and expanding one's photography. I am waiting for the black and white version to be submitted.

I can literally see your tongue well placed in your cheek and this comment oozing with sarcasm, David.

Cheers, Rick.
