Hi Ulrich. The title is intriguing!

Love the square crop :). Surfaces like this are difficult to capture and portray without them looking slightly out of focus...whether they are or not, and I think this image is one of those that regardless of what camera or lens or tripod or setting one used, the end result would always to be slightly "off".

That being said, I'd have to say that it's not at all "uninspired" ... I looked after all, but it's not that "interesting" to hold my attention for a long while. Perhaps as one of a series it may be more effective? Steve

Hi Ulrich,

I am trying to figure out what the choice is? If it is which hole for the worm-like yellow object to burrow in and slumber.

Regardless, this is a fun and playful scene, nicely rendered and "real". It looks almost straight out of the camera and that is always appreciated. Great cropping as well.

Cheers,

evan
