Looking on Your photo first time I thought that You show "strange" plates of brass and steel, but then I red Your description. How light conditions were that You reached so fantastic effect, Steve:)?! Rgds, Artur

Hi Artur. This was taken early morning, about 8:30 am I think. the columns are finished in a metallic paint so they are very reflective. The was minimal post processing. Steve

Interesting photo of 'totem' buildings. Like the shifting goldenyellow light, with black component.

Thanks Barbro. It is indeed a most interesting piece of architecture. Steve

This is sort an unsettling photo Steve. The columns that look like they are indeed, totems to the gods for unclear reasons why. Whatever processing you did, I like it. I wonder how the crop would look it you removed the whole left side and the photo starts with shadow of the middle column?

Thanks for sharing,

eVan

Thanks for your thoughts eVan :) I did very little post processing. Just a slight adjustment of shadows, darkened them and a little usm.

"The columns that look like they are indeed, totems to the gods for unclear reasons why."Stark actually modeled the columns of this building after the Easter island Moai. I'll be trying to get more photos of them from a farther vantage point as time and traffic through the area permits. Steve

Sounds like a potentially great series...you're onto something!

Yep, the building is amazing. Now if I can just manage to capture and present that!
