Very unsatisfactory composition IMHO. The scale is completely confounded with the distant building. You really should try to arrange for a background that does not compete for attention with the intended subject.

Thanks for the critique, Elva. I was trying to get the bottom of the OOF cabin lined up with the top of the scale for some kind of ... heck, I don't even know what I was thinking, composition-wise. Actually, I guess I wasn't. Thinking that is. :)

I like the bldg in the backround. The fact that the scale is so sharp makes it the focal point but that only tells half the story here. The building out of focus in the back completes the story.
