I think this barn is about 120 years old. It is overdue for a fresh coat of paint. (The boards at the bottom are relatively recent.) I had to start wearing glasses at age 10 and got used to being called "Four Eyes".

very nice shot moore. i like this pics very much. it seems like there was a kind of face looking at you, kind of mask or something. and in the right top hole there is a proper eye looking at you. so cool. it's a bit out of focus but it isn't a bit deal. have you try pass it into b&w, with a nice contrast. i think it would look awesome. keep of shooting :D

very nice subject, well seen. there is a lot of beauty in wreck, disorder, and chaos 5 i am not saying all three exist here). my eye is caught by the wood panel on the floor, slightly elevated as a good complementary for the ;do it yourself' feeling of the whole. i would suggest augmenting contrast

this is not a four eyes,as you know for sure,it is the square of number two, which consist of four smaller squares, isn't it ? where the addition equal multiplying, and it is a magical one as some says, with some powerful unseen effects on the humans, or may be it is not four eyes, may be it is squares and rectangles,I found this suits the shot more, after all the squares and rectangles, are not that different from each others,at least mathematically, I liked the abstract with its faded colors, and unsaturated tones, that adds a decaying effect, most important to me,you have used your camera, be well and fine.

Old and well used, still many in the countrysides in USA I think. None around where I live. Old has character, and history. Time goes on........

Well spotted and composed, although possibly a slight softness in the picture?

Thank you, Joe. Us old things look better in soft focus, so maybe so.

This is a cool abstract, what could make it pop is a bit more contrast and maybe a bit less brightness, thanks for sharing.

Thank you, Robert. Not all of us with a camera have the lovely young models you do, alas, so we shoot things like old barns.

The only reason to live is for the fantastic curves and lines for the female form. I live trough my work, and the rewards are the photo will last a lifetime. Creativity can be found im many things even old barns, art is knowing which ones to keep. I would love to see more of your work.

I do like old abandoned buildings like this one. You have captured an interesting bit of the building but maybe a little more colour will do it even better! Greetings Kjell

Thank you, Kjell. Old, yes, but not yet abandoned. It is still used for storage of vehicles and farm machinery. As for the colour, maybe I will re-do this after the next painting.

Sorry I didn't see this before. Such buildings remind me of that old song 'This ole house once rang with laughter'. The four eyes remind me of a spider, whose population patiently awaits inside. I love the faded, silvery red and the deep grain, rather like a rouged old lady. Those fractured planks look rather as if someone has kicked her door, though. This photograph is so evocative I can almost smell the dust. Best regards, Clive.

Thank you, Clive. This photo represented an intersection of my interests in geometry, symmetry, and old buildings. With each passing year I am becoming more sympathetic with things that are old and faded. Yes, indeed, there are spiders in there, and even a little dust.
