Another in the Gypsy concept. To elaborate a bit more on the light set up. The crystal ball is lit by a flash head in a trash can lined with a white sheet. The ball sits on a board on top of the trash can. The board has a 3 inch hole cut in it. Light enters and exits the ball with a 3 inch aperature and spreads as a cone as it exits. I placed a 3 inch disc cut from an old tee shirt on top of the ball to diffuse/soften the exiting light (PS'd out in post processing). For the PS work on the ball, I had my wife inside the house photograph me while I was outside pressing my face against the window to help convey that the image was inside the ball (this detail added after the first critique) My file name for this image is Gypsy experiment 2 and really, this whole series was just that, an experiment...let me know how this idea might worked out a bit further if you have some thoughts. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Glen, I like the pose of the girl , although she does not give me a gipsy feeling. The lightning on het face is fine. You only have to do something with the crystal ball. I looks somewhat irregular, like you used a lasso tool to cut and paste it. cheers, Hans

yes Hans, you're right...lots of time fussing with ball. Learned out to use the pen tool on this one. Bottom line lesson is do everything you can in creating the image to minimize post processing work! Thanks for the input. Cheers. Glen

very well planned composition, and atmosphere. Meybe the face in the glass ball could be improved, because now it does not look like it is inside the GLASS ball.
