Hi Mike,
it is a nice picture of the flower. i can feel it softness and the outward motion. I wish the center was sharper or more in focus so i can anchor my eyes.
i am noticing a bluish ring around the flower. I am not sure if it is something you wanted there or an artifact of sorts, but my personal preference would be to neutrilize it - either shift it more towards the green to blend with the background or towards the white to make it part of the flower.
while the whites are not blown out, i would like to see a little more contrast if possible - to almost distinguish between the different petals.
best regards.

Hi Svetla, thanks for the comment. I checked the original raw file and that bluish tinge is there too, so it must be some form of artefact. I'll see if I can play around to neutralize it. Re the petals... I don't think you can actually call them petals... this is beyond the flower stage and those short hairs help spread the seed of the plant using the wind. Thanks again, comments are truly appreciated.

HI Mike,it's a good capture and macro, looks like the focus point is in the center, but IMO it needs a little more DOF,the background is a pleasant looking color, don't know if I like the green tips on the white, and the crop seems a little tight on top and bottom, thanks

Hi Bob, thanks for the comment... and yep I was trying to get the centre in focus and the 'hairs' reaching out into oblivion.... the dark green being the foliage of the same plant.
