Wow, that sensia is crazy stuff. Gotta buy a roll or two someday. This looks like a set (e.g. teletubbies); did you do much processing or is this essentially a straight scan of the film? I like the simple composition and the lighting (or post-capture painting?) on the foreground. Looks like a desktop background ;)

Thanks Walter. A little bit blue gradient in the sky and some levels/brightness/contrast in PS

So great in so many ways. The lighting, the environment, the colors, the tree in the background. Everything comes together to make this picture truly special. I'd love to see this place in person, where was this photo taken?

This is really cool looking! I like how you caught it where the green is fading into different shades and how the sky fades up.

It's really very good photo, Lazar:)! Fantastic in simplicity with unusual shown colours, unusual but very natural looking. But one thing is a little strange for me: shadows! In this case sun is in zenith (no shadow of the tree), smudges on the ground they must be shadows of the clouds which we can't see on the sky. Impossible situation, IMO. Rgds, Artur

Lazar, this is a very nice shot. Since this forum is supposed to help the photographer grow in his artistic endeavours (sp?) and since no one has mentioned the obvious, I thought I should chime in. There are several spots on the right side of the image; most likely dust on the slide when you scanned the image. This is easily taken care of with post-processing. Secondly, you have the trees placed on the 1/3rds from left to right, but the horizon is right in the middle of the scene (vertically). I don't know if cropping differently with either more sky or more foreground would help the end result - it's just something I noticed. Keep up the good work!

The strength of this shot is in its simplicity and uniformity of colours. Nothing too complex and a wonderfully balanced composition. Great portfolio you have too. I like this one (probably) the most because of its sheer elegant simplicity. TFS

Simple is beautiful. Most of times.
The feeling of perspective thru shades, the beauty of the gradual sky, and simplicity of the composition are excellent.
Congrats...

Hello Lazar. What a peaceful landscape! Great balance between the two trees and amazing 3D feeling. The image is simple but powerful. There is not to much elements on the grass area at the foreground. But the way the light is distributed keep my eyes busy exploring and enjoying the view. Very smart composition. Best - Andres.

My problem with the photo is that it is just to pretty, like a surreal, computer-generated type. I think you can sell it to the Microsoft guys as a desktop wallpaper :). To make it a bit more complete, you could consider to clone out the area with no grass next to the tree. TFS.

Bao, I have at least 500 slides and negatives of this location. Nothing computer generated.
Thanks

No, I don't mean that. I just say that the photo, the location is too pretty, you know. Its so pretty that it seems unreal. Sorry for the misleading comment.

I love this photo. The fact that it might look like a computer generated image only enhances the appeal for me. I'd hang it on my wall.
