Picture of my cousin Priya just before her marriage. Normally its the bride's maid getting the bride ready but here it was the opposite so I used selective focus and choice of DOF to bring this out. Hope I was successful at it.

Stunning photograph! Outstanding detail, that bridges cultures and shows wonderful beauty. The subject on the right seems a bit soft in her hair, the detail isn't quite as crisp as the rest of the shot, perhaps due to the 2.8 aperture? But you still brought out the story here, and what an intrigue the story is. This is a great shot...best of luck, much regards to you...

Thank you Ron, I'm so pleased that you liked this so much. The idea here was to go with shallow DOF to keep the attention on the mascara being applied by the bride to her bride's maid instead of the other way around.
