wow! ~ I wouldn't want anyone *stealing* this without a by-line in the paper. Really is wonderous. The tonal range you have is excellent although, to be very nit picky the black shadowed hill on right is where I would just like to see some of the detail, similar to the amount there is in the left foregroud area. Stunning!

Yes, the hill on the right is a problem. I tried to work on it on different versions of this image, but never could get it right. Hopefully, one day, I will get a chance to reshoot it and use a different HDR technique.

The horizon is not straight in this image. Everything on the right is tilted a bit to the left, everything on the left tilted a bit to the right. I sort of split the difference on the level. I may have erred a bit to one side though. Thanks for the comment.

Eric This is a stunning shot. The sharpness and tonal range really grab you. The snow in the center is a little hot but the rest of the picture draws you away from that. Outstanding.

Truly stunning image! I actually don't feel that the overexposure is all that problematic here in this particular photo. And I really like the black-and-white presentation. I think a frame might have added significantly to this presentation; however this is simply a personal choice, of course. Very nice work! Congratulations.

Wow! I've been there, I've seen it, but never like this. B+W was a great idea. This doesn't quite look like Ansel Adams work, some of the snow is slightly washed out, but it's really excellent. The reflection is perfect. Now I have to go back to some of my shots and see if B&W is right for them. Thanks for posting this.

Fantastic image, Eric. Great composition, perfect clarity and sharpness. Tonal range is very good. Delicate overexposure on the left in the middle. Other than that I like it a lot. I would like to see it in color. Thanks for sharing.RB

Hi Eric!Very beautiful place in mountains! Reflection on water repeats beauty of mountains. But it seems to me, that the picture becomes more interesting if to cut off the top part with top on the right. Success in creativity.

Very nicely put together composition. The mountains and the relection of the mountains work well together. The conversion works well except for what looks like some bright light to the far right that is a little distracting. Overall, a very well done landscape. Dan

Haven't seen your color version but this black and white work is impressive Eric. Very nice tonal range from white to black, good shooting angle and composition to give a good perspective from near to far. I enjoy this one. Cheers......Edwin

Simply, I would hang this one on my wall in my living room----I do agree with the critiques that this is a little sharper than Ansell Adams, and yes, the snow is a little hot in the middle of the scene---but guess what, I love it, and love the effect and would be very happy to hang this one in my home or office. Great work, Bob
