Compositionally a classy landscape with the tree and the curved road, but there is a certain lack of color in the field

Wonderful colors, lighting and composition. The tree and the road, drawing the viewer's eye off in to the distance, are wonderful. My only critique is that I think it might be slightly over-sharpened.

I sharpen for Web, but not for prints.
Thanks

I must say that it is a nice landscape, and a very nice tree, but I think there could be more in this photo. Particulary the sky is overexposed and holds too little contrast, rather too bad as it is almost 50% of the entire photo. Placing the tree in the middle of the composition is ok, but changing the point of view a bit more to the right or left would give the road more depth. Offcourse I don't know if it is possible as I do not know if there are some disturbing elements outside the photo. Regards, Marco.

Could be a car, or a person, down on that road, but expetionally clear and bright, sharp and colourful. Great, silky image quality. Nicely done.

Wow! What a great place to be! :) It somehow reminds me of Kenya plains photo. Otherwise, it has some American feeling. The tree for some reason looks dull and artificial but it could be optical illusion. Anyway, great photo! Thanks for sharing! Best regards, Maksym.

Hey Pal:
This is a great photo-perhaps the sky could have been darker, but that is my opinion only. I use film , some provia, some Kodachrome 64 and colr Fujicolor Film . Keep up good work.
As a note I used a Minolta 7000 for almost 17 years.

Great shot, looks so clean and calm, the road indicates this goes on for ever; the tree almost looks like it was placed there; sharp with nice colours; well done. Regards RUSS

I have to say this scene doesn't look entirely real to me, but then it looks slightly surreal in a very pleasing, almost dreamy, way. The placement of the tree in almost the perfect centre of the frame shouldn't work but somehow does; the colour of the tree doesn't look much like any tree I've ever seen but is still very pleasing. The sky is perhaps not as intensely blue as it might be, although again in this picture it feels like an observation rather than a criticism.
The way the dirt path winds lazily through the scene adds interest throughout the frame, and adds to the sense that even if this isn't somewhere I'd actually see for real it's certainly somewhere I might see in a pleasant dream.

As far as I know this tree is one type of the known Accacia
Thanks for your deep analyses.

This is a surreal scene. The hard lighting of mid day nicely expresses the shade one would find under the tree. The composition might be strengthened by putting the tree further left in the frame and possibly showing grass on the side of the road all the way to the lower right corner.
