Wonderful photo, and all your architecture pictures are what i strive to accomplish! I have several shots off this bridge area but none as nice as this.

Hi. The most intimate scene of this series of night shots of Bruges. The square composition is well balanced, and the different light sources provide more volume to the perspective. Good work. Regards.

Hi Michel, very good picture, I like how you've managed the exposure, is good and give a nice effect to the water. The colors are good, especially the contrast with the sky, but I'm not sure about one thing: the picture seems a little tilted. Best regards, Enrico

Hello Michel. Impressive. Great DOF with your f/22 choise, sharp all through. I like the colors and the sharpness (perhaps a tiny bit oversharpened). Also good angle, shot from a bridge? Composition is good but I find the wire(?) in the upper left corner a little bit distracting. I think there is a dust spot visible in the sky. Regards, Hub

Thanks for your in depth critique, Hub The wire is an iron bar holding the chimney, but you're right it's slightly distracting. I agree on sharpening too, a little heavy, with a tin halo visible here and there. You have eyes like a hawk !

Hi! Very good capture with the "magic moment where the sun is gone but there is still blue in the sky". Good use of the channel as the main leading path in the photo conducting to the old houses and tower of the church. Interesting placement of the right wall at the right side. Very good processing with the new version of DXO. Jose Paulo
