This is from a series I did from under my glass patio table. The blue reflection is from the pool, not the sky.

a nice example of creativity, a good eye in finding interesting subjects on the ordinary objects, just changing the POV. this is a original abstract, nicely composed. there are some scratches and spots (dust?) all over the image that detracts from the clean shapes that you've represented. clean ther table or simply the image cloning those spots on PS :) cheers

Thanks, Luca. I've already cloned out a bunch of dust spots, but looks like I missed some! I cleaned that darn table a dozen times, but as soon as I start shooting, dust blows on again! Must try in on a less windy day. Thanks for your great critique - it's much appreciated. Sue

I certainly give you points for creativity on choosing subject matter. It goes to prove you don’t have to leave your backyard to find interesting subject matter. Composition wise, the main issue is that the image is quite dark on the right hand side, which feels like ‘wasted’ space and unbalances the image.

Thanks, Chris. It's probably easier to reshoot than it is to manipulate this one, being as it's in my backyard! Sue
