Using suggestions from previous posting. Mostly recropping. Please check out both. Additionally, many of my Hell's Hollow images have a white frame. I am using a black frame here. Please let me know which is better.

this is a great effort. what a glorious effect achieved when the suns rays are so distinct right? this could work well black and white also in my opinion. it would save you the problem of having to decide on which greens and browns you liked best. i think it would work because the depth is evident in this photo and does not rely altogether on the colour for its success. thanks

I liked your original version better. It's nice to have the tree on the right cropped, but I think the wider angle of the original version looked better. Also, the highlights are harsher than in the original version. As far as the frame goes, I like the white better. The black one creates an unecessary void. Perhaps no frame would be best.

Personally I like this black frame for this version Douglas, I have checked out your previous post and I find that you have removed the green trending tones on this one and it looks warmer to me. If I am right, the rays come out stronger due to the higher contrast here. Well seen and well done work Douglas, cheers......Edwin
