Natural light by the window, just behind the drapes; a portrait of my son Kuntay. Thanks for viewing and your critiques.

well he is stubborn, like father like son :) Ok nice composition, night light. He is obviously very comfortable. But what is whit this grainy and noisy look? For my taste it is too much especially for a portrait. Don't get mad at me Yoda :) but i know you can do better :)

Thanks Senem.. i have to admit when compared to digital iso 400, despite of the superior color reproduction performance of Kodak Ultra 400 (check skin tone), the grain remains at disturbing levels under uncontrolled ligthting conditions. As you've mentioned this is very noticable at the shadows. If i had the chance to fill in from left, with the help of a reflector for instance, i believe the grain could have been eliminated.
