Nice picture Stephen. You got very good detail on the flower and the darker blurred background works well. I would also suggest a tighter crop. Although you did a great job of blurring the background there is too much of it. Its not really needed. I would crop about an inch off the right hand side and 2 inches from the bottom and about 3.5 inches from the right side. Good job

Hi Stephen - Yes, the red flowers do stand out - especially when viewing the thumbnail. They are nicely in focus. I think the image would be improved if you did a little cropping for a better view of the flowers but not too much - you would still want them to stand out.
