Pretty image. Like how you handled the sky. Don't know if this light was representative of the time, but (on my monitor) it appears a little dark. Maybe a boost to brightness overall could bring out some of that shadow detail and enhance image impact. Nice job as is though.

I believe I backed off the expsoure to give it a little more saturation. Thanks.

David, a very nice composition. Colors and details are very good. was wondering whether you played with the blues in post-processing since they look a little too dark. Technical aspects are good. Enjoyed this.

Yes, I did accentuate the blues some in a selctive saturation, but the gradient of blue seen was natural. Thanks.

This is a fairly common view but it doesn't take away from the nice work done. The image is colorful and sharp. The composition is good but the crop on the right side leaves me a little flat as it just seems to me that there should be something more there. Overall, a very nice image. Don

Thanks Don. I was pretty much as wide as I could be and had taken some horizontal shots further away so I was experimenting with this orientation.

David, good composition, and given the colours, this should go for the may assignment :-)
It's a pity that the early light didn't help you much, since it didn't help you give three dimensionality to the rocks. Cheers, Marco

At this time of year the sunlight is basically perpindicular to the arch, so no good side light was avaialble. Thanks.

Hum, sun rising in the west? Anyway nice image. Composition is good in I think a standard way. Not a real risky image but a solid one. Lighting again is good in the sense of it is fairly even in throughout the frame, again standard. I think it comes down to it's a nicely done image but not a real dynamic scene. For me it falls somewhere between 1-2 tu.

You worked well with the vertical elements of the photograph. Very nice location. Looks like the weather was nice and the sunlight good for this area.
The colours look very nice, either. I like it.
Kind regards, Artur

You do pretty good here David even without a surfer.

Thanks Gary. Just a warning but I did bring my surfing lens on this strip to get some different perspectives on the Southwest landscapes.
