Hi Hector.
I don't think you pulled this one off. For motionblur, you shouldn't try doing it in photoshop, its much easier when you create the photo it self. Try learning you self to do a real pan, you're much better of in that manner. This looks fake. First, stop using ISO 400 for this type of shot, if you want motion-blur, stop the lens down so you get the slowest shutterspeed you can handheld (should be quite low with VR) and then you just follow the car. It gives you a much more convincing pan than this. The wheels here doesn't show any movement and you have some edges of the car, which just appears to be double. Sorry, but I think this is a redo. Keep clicking ;o)Best regards, Thomas.

Oh Hector if only the car was not cut off it would be a guaranteed 3,the sharpness and panning (motion blur) are superb and the car itself looks fantastic

Hector, this car remembers me something of some years ago, while I was more interested in cars and rallies; and so it's even surprising, for me, that Lancia still has the same "decorations" and colours of years ago. I think that the fact that the whole car isn't in your frame is not so important, and even that this is able to add something more to the good sensation of motion. I only have the sensation of too much "white" (or maybe, simply, an eccessive reflection of light on the white) on the car, but it's an interesting attempt, I think; one of those things that, probably, I'll never try. Ciao!

Hi. Thanks for your comments. I see your point about light reflections, caused by my position. I also was fond of rallys when I was younger, and the 037's were one of the favourite cars of that time. I took this picture in a recent classics rally, and the Lancias were the main attraction. One of this days I'll scan some of my old rally pics, just to compare... Ciao!.

Rally races are so much fun!! Great clarity and sharpness on the car. Just enough blured motion to convey just how fast they are going. That being said I would have like the see the entire car in frame. But I know how hard that can be at 90mph. :)Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for your comments. I have some other pics with all the car on frame, but not so close. Regards.
