A study on Haydarpasa; one of Istanbul's two famous stop stations. Haydarpasa is located on the Asia side and Sirkeci, which is in fact was the final stop of the Orient Express, on the Europe side. These two are waiting for the tunnel construction under the Bosphorus strait to finalize so that they can be directly connected after 100 plus years :) Thanks for viewing and your critiques.

I like the image a lot - the blown lights don't bother me, but the somewhat washed out color does - a tweak of curves and a bit more saturation would make the tones more pleasing I think. I also would prefer a little more foreground so you could crop below the bench and flower stand - interesting location - I'd like to see more from here! John

Thanks very much for visiting this "not so new" photo and for your critic.

This is in fact an HDR study. So the night time tonality was a little limited with yellow tones there. Actually... although it's somehow interesting, i'm not very happy with the dramatic perspective distortion here. Considering that i was standing at the very edge of the docks, with a normal camera it's impossible to obtain straight walls regardless of how wide your lens can be. Once i buy a view camera, my first task will be to visit the very same location and to re-shoot.

You've got a wonderful image here which I feel is affected by the blown out lights. I think that getting more of the street on the right in the image would give it a nice balanced fee also. The colours are wonderful, and the image is nice and sharp. Nice work! Colin
