This is the top of Sword Stone. I took this shot from a higher point of view to bring in some perspective--the mountains on opposite and down the valley. It may not be a good quality picture yet it tells a story of a beautiful natural phenominon

This place reminds me of Kargil in India. What a beautiful place Afganistan and you have captured the mountains very nicely. As you may be aware our beautiful Kargil went thro' a bad time. The Kargil War, also known as the Kargil conflict, was an armed conflict between India and Pakistan that took place between May and July 1999 in the Kargil district of Kashmir. The cause of the war was the infiltration of Pakistani soldiers and Kashmiri militants into positions on the Indian side of the Line of Control, which serves as the de facto border between the two nations. I pray for Afganistan peace which is over due from almighty.

Hi Dr Qadir,I have a lot of pics like this, the composition is quite good, but my point of view is that if there is just one man sitting there or standing there would be better, what do you think? Anyway nice shot!....../Ron

They were our members of the expedition. Keeping one of them there and excluding the rest was not convenient for me. Then I had to take more photos for each of them separately which was not possible because I was going short of film there in the first place. Frankly I did not think of that there. However I thank you for your nice critique my dear Ron.
