The use of a filter in this instance works extremely well. The colour saturation is beautiful and focus really good. The fence kind of ruins the composition and the brown border looks a bit second-rate.

Wow, the colors and DOF are P-E-R-F-E-C-T!

The added filter is okay, but it would have been nice to apply it (lightly) to the background only.

Trinity, thanks for the nice comments. The horse is a gentle one. This is not a stabled horse. He has room to run. For your comments to count as points there is a certain word count minimum and I don't recall the number. It found under help critique, I think...
