Beautiful, the colours looking great, thanks the perfect done lighting. The composition is also good. Great, the colours of autumn. I like it.

I agree with previous crit on the composition, but as far as topic/subject matter, I see nothing 'non-interesting' about it. The leaves look a bit soft on my monitor, but the colors are vivid and strong, contrasts nicely against the deep blue sky...but it is the comp that's keeping it from being more for me.

Hi Frank, I really like the colours here - the saturated leaves against the deep blue of the sky is a combination that always wins for me. In fact, it is the colours that drew me to this thumbnail initially. However, when I saw the picture at full size, I am afraid I was a little disappointed with the composition which feels a little messy to me. I really like the oof leaves in the background, but feel that the leaves in the foreground would have stood out better if they did not "touch" the oof leaves. Also, the apparent shadow on the right hand leaf keeps atracting my attention. Looks like a cracking lens though! Keep shooting .. Neil

the compression for sig did not work so well with this. you are right on the composition though.
