Beautiful! I just wander what a deeper field of view would have pulled from this making the whiskers on neck in focus and the back parts of the eye balls clearer & front part of the critter as well. It appears the focal point is most dominat toward the middle of the critters head missing the front and back focus in DOF. All the same is a good macro indeed! Close Close Close - up T.Savage 2006

Thank you ....using the 65 mm 1-5X macro gives you a very shallow DOF , great lens but thats the nature of the beast

WOW now that is a macro shot! Holy cow look at the clarity of those eyes... Color is fantastic...and I can't get over the how much detail you captured. Perfect in my book! ~K

Very nice macro Robert. Anyone who has tried to take a photo like this knows how hard it is to get the depth of field right. The clarity of the eyes is excellent. Great work!

very good photho, the sharpines is good i like the way the eyes look very small bug to make this photo...
