Hmmm, the comment of 'not technically flawless' intrigued me to comment. I find this photo, as per your usual, to be superb. But I cannot see how one can actually apply technical criticism on the photography without knowing the goal of the photo when it is clearly an artistic expression of an idea rather than the normal sort of photo on this and other sites. This is art more than it is a straight photograph. I think the model, the backlighting rectangle, the expression are terrific. If I apply normal standards to it, I might say that you've lost her left shoulder, right hair is too bright, etc etc. But really, your photographs are tantalising candy for the eye and mind and they have too much to offer to be wondering if the meaning might be different if her hair were less brightly lit. Cheers, Richard

Hi Zwir, an almost scruffy image of your curled beauty... Pentax, film, straight on, minimal SP? Did you create the blur the old way? Vaseline? The angle of the head and the angle of the dark dress at the top, floor is tilted a little, one leg stretched, the other like for a foot tapping the floor, no patience, youth, get it over with... Very beautiful. Thank you. Luc

Ok, not technically flawless. But the sense of space more than makes up for it. One of may favourite images for ages in photosig. Great shot.

You are very artistic! I like much of your work. This photo is stark and has minumum details. I just think the black point should be set so there are more and deeper blacks. I also think the model should be sharper, ofte soft focus and art go hand in hand, but not always need to be that way. Here sharper would be better - IMHO.
