Well exposed and good focus. Two things would move this from a snapshot-style photo to a superior one. First, if at all possible, try to find them in front of a more interesting or less cluttered background. (I know we sometimes have to take what we see, but patience and preparation can be rewarded.) Second, leaving a little more space in front of the lead bird would give a more interesting composition. Can't fix this one, but think about these in future attempts.

Del, Thanks for the comment. I see what you mean about the back ground, but, did not have much of a choice. I see what you mean as far as leaving more space to the L of the pic. I will keep trying, thanks again, dave

Yes, sometimes we simply have to get the shot. One of the tricks is avoiding this situation by thinking ahead of the shot. Hard to do, but worth working on.
