Great pose but what does it for me is the lack of water. Taken near water (natural grassland) really gives it a wild duck feel. Detail is great and the mallard fits well with the scene. Best, Brat. However, this is likely a goil duck, likely a female mallard although I'm not 100% sure. Also, you might be able to pull some detail from the shadows at the belly of the beast. Sharpness is exceptional and I like the saturated colors.
