Thumb-up    from casch/Chris (5,448) Send mail to this user on April 16, 2006 12:07:03 PM CDT (1) Early critique

I get the feeling of the crouds and the stress caused by them. I do feel that the camera from along the train was good as a thought but there is too much train. I think that I would have pointed the camera a couple of degrees to the right and gotten more interest there. Thanks

Chris

Thanks Chris you read my intent very well. I see your point in moving the shot a bit to the right. Thanks for your suggestions.

a very cluttered image, your too close to the train. the cart has interest, but it's not lit very well. this is where limited focus comes in handly, shoot this as wide open as possible to isolate the subjects. the image as it stands is very cluttered, and while your showing the bustling nature, it's also very distracting. to show bustle, a long exposure with motion is better.

The idea Mike was to show the clutter and chaos that takes places. So I wasn't trying to isolate just the cart or any one set of people. I see your point but my intent was different.
