Taken outside mid-day with a 3x4 softbox to camera left. Very bright outside, had to use a ND filter to open up the lens.

James, this is a nice image of "outback". I like her smile and the way you have captured her eyes. Having said that I would prefer to have the hat not so low on her head of tilted up more so that we could see more of her. IMO the hat just looks to dominate, it's large, in sharp focus and a brighter color than her face. We need to be able to see her eyes better. The only reason we can see them here is because of the reflection of the flash. I am sure that she is very happy with the image as well as you should be. These are just my comments. Thanks for posting, keep shooting and having fun.........mike

James, lots of views huh...too bad not many critiques! This is a great capture of her smile. Looks like she was very relaxed in front of your lens. There was considerable effort here to even out the image given your stated lighting conditions. I would have wished for just a bit more sharpness just in her eyes post processing, but everthing else is excellent. Well done!
