I almost like this shot, but I find the reflections elongated and distracting. I'm not an expert at these shots, but looking at your portfolio you will be soon. It might be that your shooting from a low angle that's causing it. Perhaps it's an issue with the flow in the Yarra, I don't know. There's a little bit of distracting flare in the upper section but otherwise a great image. Good exposure, sharpness, and colour. Having the reflection in the center seems to work well. Good shot...Melbourne is a crowded city yet this photo shows the irony the reflection of the ligths from the building is superb. It's the very element that makes this photo look so tranquil. ++++ BJ

Splitting the photography in half between the buildings and the reflection really works here as the reflection is so teasing to the eye. The horizontal light on the building just to the right of centre is a bit intense and that distracts me, and a little bit of Photoshop would have helped. Nicely cropped and proportioned. Overall a photo that could hang in a corporate office.
