Canon 350D, 18-55mm lens, +7 close up fliters, one shoplight to the right, one to the left, fill flash diffused with tissue and yellow poster board for the background.

Maybe just a touch bright on these petals but I just love the orange you've used for this backdrop, Courtney. Deliciously warm! Get that light under control and you've got a real winner here. God sharpness...wouldn't go much further with that aspect of this. Nice!

What beatiful macro floral capture Courtney!The colorful of the whole of the picture is superb. I like the angle of the flower,the clearness and the fresh water drops.I think that a little more of sharpness would even have more beauty and more life.ANyway it is a truly splendid work! I like the way the flower comes up from the lower left corner to fill the frame. Good colours, detail is just a touch soft (maybe some detail lost in compression when uploaded). The water drops adds a nice touch of detail/interest. Background came out nicely too (no distractions).
